Pusha T and his brother Malice recently appeared on The New York Times’ Popcast podcast, where the Clipse duo dove into a wide-ranging conversation about their return to music — and didn’t shy away from addressing past tensions, including Pusha’s fallout with Kanye West and his ongoing feuds with Drake and Travis Scott.

During the interview, Pusha was asked about his decision to part ways with Ye and the now-fractured relationship with GOOD Music. He was also asked whether he ever regretted not speaking up more forcefully during their time working together.

“I don’t even know if I ever held my tongue,” Pusha responded. “I always spoke to everything. But what you do with that information — in taking advice or perspective from me — that’s what you do. But I don’t regret any of it.”

While he acknowledged the undeniable impact of their musical collaborations, Pusha made it clear that beyond the studio, their relationship was strained.

“I mean, we made great music,” he said. “Outside of music, we’re nothing. Outside of that — his principles, his morals, his mindset — we don’t see eye to eye, hardly ever. And we never have.”

Pusha’s comments mark one of his most candid assessments yet of the complicated dynamic with Ye, underscoring that creative chemistry doesn’t always translate to personal alignment.
